On Sunday April 3rd, we begin our IN-PERSON Sunday School. At present we are meeting in the Upper Room above the kitchen and in the Nursery downstairs.
Teachers, Helpers, and Nursery Workers, it is time to think and pray about returning to teach. Please speak to either Orpah Cundangan or Rina Soriano.
There will be an information meeting for parents in regard to the possibility of starting up a virtual zoom Sunday School. All parents are encouraged to attend this brief meeting on Sunday, February 7, 12:30 pm.
I hope to see all the teachers, helpers and parents there!

Beginning March 8, we will start a new series for our Adult Sunday School entitled “Seeing Christ More Clearly.” We will be sharing some of the material we recently shared on our mission trip to Thailand.

Of all of the sins you may or may not be aware of in your life, which top your list? Chances are that idolatry is somewhere near the bottom, just before wearing white after Labour Day! But, our reality, as people living in a fallen world, is that idolatry is a much bigger factor in our spiritual battles than we might think at first. In fact idolatry is a root sin from which most, if not all other sins, flow.

Knowing that something significant has happened isn't the same as knowing the significance of that something.
In fact, the more significant the happening, the harder it is to fully understand its significance. Understanding significance takes time. Seeing context and connections and outcomes takes time. Knowing the significance of something is like looking at a painting. When you are close to it, all you see are brushstrokes and blobs of colour, but step back and the beauty, patterns, and the meaning comes into focus.
This week Grant concludes his series in the Gospel of John. John's Gospel was written last. John had the benefit of not only walking and talking with Jesus and truly knowing Him, but he also had the benefit of the inspired thoughts of the other gospel writers and time to look back and ponder.
In other words, John's gospel has perspective. It is a gospel that focuses on, not only what Jesus did, and why He did it, but on who Jesus was. It is a gospel focused on significance. Join us on this journey of asking the very question John wants us to ask, the very question he seeks to answer: "Who is Jesus?"
Every Wednesday we get together to pray and study God’s Word.
We begin with our study at 6:30 pm. This is a time of informal, relational study together. We have a lot of laughs and lots of serious discussions as we seek to understand and apply God’s Word to our lives.
Then at 8:00 pm a group of dedicated people lifts the ministries and concerns of the congregation and community to the Lord. If you have a concern you would like prayed for, or if you would like to be present to be prayed for, you can email Grant.
