It is commonly thought that Christmas began life as a pagan festival. Is that true? If it is, what do we do with that as followers of Christ? Thanks to…
Christmas, the true Christmas, recognizes our darkness and it comes into our darkness and it stays with us in our darkness, until reassurance shines forth like a GREAT LIGHT!

“Spirit-Filled Disciples”
This week Grant continues in his “Disciple.” series.
As Christians we know that we are called to do more than believe. Our belief must translate into change, growth, obedience, following, serving, and caring. In short all Christians are called to so apply themselves to being a student of Christ that we become more Christ-like in our thinking and actions.
With that in mind, let’s start the New Year reminding ourselves of exactly who we are called to follow, and that we are, indeed, called to follow!
Daily Bread
“For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.”
(2 Corinthians 4:5, NIV)
Every Wednesday we get together to pray and study God’s Word.
We begin with our study at 6:30 pm. This is a time of informal, relational study together. We have a lot of laughs and lots of serious discussions as we seek to understand and apply God’s Word to our lives.
Then at 8:00 pm a group of dedicated people lifts the ministries and concerns of the congregation and community to the Lord. If you have a concern you would like prayed for, or if you would like to be present to be prayed for, you can email Grant.
