The Board of Directors of Keele Street Christian Church has unanimously voted to re-open in-person service in accordance with local health restrictions. Currently, due to capacity limits we require that you book ahead using our online booking system. Please go to our booking page, choose the Sunday you would like to attend, and provide us your details. Please do not come to service unless you have received a confirmation email of your booking. We look forward to seeing those of you who would like to attend soon. Thank you so much!
Remember when we used to travel? Presently most of us are dealing with nothing more unfamiliar than our backyard and our local grocery store. Our travel is restricted to the very familiar and we don’t need any help getting from point A to point B.
But back in the days of travel, we needed help. When physical maps gave way to Google Maps, the world opened up to us in so many wonderful ways!
No matter how unfamiliar we were with a location, the landmarks, a culture, or the written and spoken language, Google Maps gave us a sense of security. It allowed us to venture out and explore. It helped us to see the overall picture of how to get from point A to point B.
This Sunday Grant begins a new series of messages entitled “15 Essential Scripture Signposts” Think of this as a collection of red flags on a Google Map that tell us important things.
These 15 texts are waypoints to help us to see the overall journey of God’s Story throughout Scripture. With these 15 signposts we can see the direction we are headed. We can understand where we came from. More than that, we can use these posts as jumping-off points to some of the greatest landmarks and themes that run throughout Scripture. They will give you the confidence to explore more and go farther while still keeping our spiritual bearings.
We have now entered into in-person services on a limited bases (30% capacity). If you would like to join us in person, you can register online. As numbers are limited, please register early. If there is room still available you will receive a conformation e-mail.
Every Tuesday (other than the first Tuesday of the Month when we go to our community prayer walk) we get together to pray and study God’s Word.
We begin with prayer at 7:00 pm. A group of dedicated people lifts the ministries and concerns of the congregation and community to the Lord. If you have a concern you would like prayed for, or if you would like to be present to be prayed for, you can email Grant.
Then, at 8:00 pm, we have our Bible Study. This is a time of informal, relational study together. We have a lot of laughs and lots of serious discussions as we seek to understand and apply God’s Word to our lives.
SPOTligtht has gone virtual for now since we have been asked to suspend public meetings.
