Free Desktop Calendar

Sunday SchoolPhotography is both an escape and a place of worship for me. It is a place where I slow down and look for God.

Recently I came up with a way of sharing my stuff with you: desktop backgrounds with a monthly calendar and a scripture verse on it.

These are all original images taken by me and I will make a new image available on a monthly basis. For August I have an image taken of small river landscape in Peterborough, Ontario.

If you would like to have this image for your desktop just “right click” on the links below and then “save as” the size appropriate for your screen resolution. Then, you have to set the image as your background, of course.

If you would like another size that isn’t available you can leave a comment and I will see what I can do. –Blessings, Grant

Thanksgiving Food Drive

The Sharing Place Food Bank Thanksgiving time is coming up and what better way to be thankful then to share with those in need? As you are most likely aware, all food banks experience greater demands on their already limited resources at this time of year. With this in mind, Keele Street and Maple Leaf Christian Churches have decided to help “The Sharing Place”, our local food bank, by a door-to-door collection on September 30th.

A special thank you from Keele and Maple Leaf churches for everyone in our community who gave! Thanks for sharing in tough economic times, it really means a lot!

Christianity for Skeptics Lectures

Summer Fellowship Series

The Ezra Institute is having their Annual Summer Fellowship Series throughout the month of July. This years theme is “Christianity for Skeptics”. As a result, Keele is foregoing our regular Wednesday evening schedule and encouraging everyone to attend the lecture throughout July. They begin at 7:00 pm, each Wednesday.

Speakers & topics include:

  • Andrew Sandlin, “Are Christian sexual ethics outdated?”
  • Joe Boot, “Can Religion and State be separate?”
  • Victor Shepherd, “Why does God allow good people to suffer?”
  • Steven Lawson, “The witness of Stephen”
  • Scott Masson, “Is Jesus the only way to God?”

Church Picnic

On August 12, after our worship service we will be meeting over at Etieene Brule Park for a church picnic.

Plan to attend this time of fellowship, fun and food! Why not bring a bit extra food and share it?!

Summer Schedule

Summer ScheduleBeginning June 24th we will be moving to our Summer Schedule. This means that we will be moving to one service only at 10:30am.
